Gaming has long been gender-neutral, but men dominate professional esports. With its Equal eSports Initiative, Telekom is enabling equal access for all, regardless of gender, origin or social status. Together with partners from the gaming world, the company is setting an example for diversity and inclusion.

Our Approach

We are responsible for PR outside of traditional gaming media and make the initiative accessible to a broad public. The focus is on stories about participants, mentors, game characters and the physical and mental demands of esports. We specifically link content to Telekom's brand values. As a media highlight, we are responsible for press relations surrounding the Equal eSports Festival.

Outcome
